UCLA PF William Kyle enters NCAA transfer portal

UCLA PF William Kyle has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos reports. Kyle has a do not contact tag as he enters the portal.
Kyle spent one season in Los Angeles playing for Mick Cronin. He previously played the first two seasons of his collegiate career at South Dakota State.
The Nebraska native had a breakout sophomore season for South Dakota State in 2024, averaging 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game. He transferred to UCLA, but never started a game for the Bruins despite appearing in 32 games this past season. Kyle averaged 2.9 points and 1.8 rebounds during his lone season in LA.
Kyle was UCLA’s fifth commitment out of the transfer portal last offseason, joining Skyy Clark from Louisville, Eric Dailey from Oklahoma State, Tyler Bilodeau from Oregon State, and Kobe Johnson from USC.
Before college, Kyle was a top-100 recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was the No. 88 overall player in his class, and the No. 17 power forward.
The Bruins finished this past season 23-11 overall. UCLA’s season ended over the weekend during a 67-58 loss to Tennessee during the NCAA Tournament’s Round of 32.

UCLA forward Devin Williams enters NCAA transfer portal
UCLA forward Devin Williams has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He enters after his second season with the Bruins.
Williams redshirted during the 2024-25 season to preserve a year of eligibility. He played sparingly as a true freshman during the 2023-24 campaign. Devin Williams played in 10 games as a true freshman, averaging just 3.3 minutes per game. He scored 1.4 points while averaging 0.7 rebounds.
Now he’ll seek an opportunity where he’ll have more playing time. At 6 foot 10, 200 pounds, he should have some suitors, though he might have to drop down to a lower level.
During his lone season of action with the Bruins, Devin Williams had four games in which he neither scored nor pulled down a rebound. His high-water marks came early in his first campaign, before his minutes began to disappear.
