UTSA transfer cornerback Denver Harris commits to UNLV
UTSA Roadrunners transfer cornerback Denver Harris is taking his talents to Sin City, joining the UNLV Rebels via the NCAA Transfer Portal, he announced via social media. The defender has also suited up for the Texas A&M Aggies and LSU Tigers throughout his collegiate career.
As a member of the Class of 2022, Harris was a five-star recruit out of Houston (Texas) North Shore, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 6 overall prospect in the state, the No. 3 cornerback in the class and the No. 23 overall prospect in the class.
All told, Harris has amassed 37 total tackles and eight PBUs across his three stops, with the Aggies, Tigers and Roadrunners. He’ll be hoping to finally find a home in Las Vegas with the Rebels.

Michigan had the task of replacing JJ McCarthy this offseason after winning a national championship. Orji was certainly one of the candidates and got his opportunities throughout the year but not with much success.
He threw for 150 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions on 47 attempts. The numbers a lot better when Orji took off himself, having 57 carries for 266 yards and a touchdown.
“It’s great,” fellow Michigan QB Davis Warren said during Alabama bowl preparation. “He’s a great dude. Michigan Man through and through.”
Orji played high school football at Sachse (TX), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 390 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
