2025 Four-Star CB Jett White decommits from USC
Orange (CA) High four-star cornerback Jett White announced his decommitment from USC Tuesday morning.
The 6-foot-2, 170 pounder had been committed to the Trojans since September 2021.
White sent a statement to On3 regarding his decommitment:
After countless hours of praying , talking to my dad , and family, I believe it’s in my best interest for me to decommit from the University of Southern California (USC).
I would like to thank CB Donte Williams, who at the time was interim head coach when I was offered, along with Mondo who played a major role in my commitment. Thanks to Lincoln Riley and Coach Grinch for accepting my commitment once they took over as HC and DC. I have enjoyed every visit to USC over the past year. Since my commitment in September 2021 I have talked to Donte and explained to him although I’m de-committing , USC is still at the top of my list and I will continue to communicate with him and the staff going forward.
I committed as a freshman and I’m young but in no way I wanted USC to feel disappointed or disrespected that I was taking trips to other colleges as a USC commit. I want to see all that this football world has to offer.
Thanks to USC,coaching staff, support staff, and fans for everything, but right now I believe I need to open up my recruitment 100%.
I’m leaving it in God’s hands, he will lead and I’ll follow and I know he will lead me in the right direction.
Thanks
Sincerely Jett 6
