Class of 2024 IOL Makai Saina commits to USC
Class of 2024 interior offensive lineman Makai Saina announced his commitment to USC Tuesday evening.
The 6-foot-5, 285 pounder chose the Trojans over Texas and Texas A&M.
Saina on why he chose USC
“I selected USC because I feel like that’s the best place for me to further my athletic and academic career. The current players, and the coaching staff I feel I can connect with them in a way that far surpasses football. I am ready to get to work and help USC make history AGAIN!! Let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you for helping me out with this.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“In regards to the coaching staff, my position coaches, Coach Henson and Coach Crabtree are coaches that I feel very comfortable with in regards to talking about my future and how to develop into the best offensive lineman I can be. And Coach Riley I know he will take care of us. He has a vision to take this football team to a level that I would like to be a part of and help with.”
The Lone Star State offensive lineman joins coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans’ No. 6 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star cornerback Marcelles Williams, four-star wide receiver Xavier Jordan, and others.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV).
