Braylon Conley

Class of 2024 safety Braylon Conley of Humble (TX) Atascocita High announced his commitment to USC Friday evening.

The 6-foot, 178 pounder chose the Trojans over Arkansas, Utah, and Texas.

Conley on why he chose USC

“The relationship I have with the staff and the way it feels like a family up there. Also USC has much more to offer besides that they can compete for a national championship they can also set you up for so much success outside of football with all the resources there are in LA.”

Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him

“I would say coach Donte and he plans on using me strictly as a corner and taking full advantage of my length and ability to come up and hit.”

Practicing against the best every day

“I literally have no choice but to get better. USC will always keep an elite quarterback and elite receivers so going against that everyday should only make the games easier.”

The Lone Star State defensive back joins coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans’ top 5 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star wide receiver Ryan Pellum, four-star cornerback Dakoda Fields, and others.

Conley ranks as the No. 512 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 52 safety and the No. 90 player in the state of Texas.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
