2024 3-star TE Decker DeGraaf returning to USC
Glendora (Calif.) three-star tight end Decker DeGraaf is visiting USC on Friday for the Trojans’ game against Colorado. He is returning to Los Angeles for the second time since Sept. 17.
DeGraaf is the No. 610 overall prospect and No. 28 tight end in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 59 player in California.
On3 rates DeGraaf higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not ranked in the 2024 On300, DeGraaf is the No. 26 tight end and No. 55 player in California.
Even though USC has not offered DeGraaf, he holds seven others. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a very tight race for his commitment. California leads at 46.1%, while Oregon State is close behind at 40.3%.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

USC’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains three prospects. They are Calabasas (Calif.) four-star cornerback Aaron Butler, Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge four-star tight end Joey Olsen and Houston (Texas) Long Beach Poly four-star wide receiver Jason Robinson. Each Trojans commit is ranked in the top-250 of the On3 Consensus.
DeGraaf has an On3 NIL Valuation of $12.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
