Williams was also a team captain, and will bring plenty of leadership, size, and experience with him to the USC program. A 6-foot-7 versatile forward who’s played in 115 games and made 58 starts throughout his career and scored 767 points, grabbed 445 rebounds, and assisted on 96 baskets during his time with the Wolverines. Shooting a career 43.3% from the field, 74.3% from the free throw line, and a career-best 39.7% from behind the three-point line last season.
With Williams commitment, Musselman has landed the eighth player through the transfer portal this offseason ahead of his first season at the helm. Joining big time additions like former Boise State forward Chibuzo Agbo Jr., Northern Colorado‘s Saint Thomas, and Ivy League additions like Matt Knowling and Clark Slajchert.
