Four-Star CB Marcelles Williams commits to USC
Four-star cornerback Marcelles Williams of Bellflower (CA) St. John Bosco announced his commitment to USC Sunday morning.
The 6-foot, 178 pounder chose the Trojans over UCLA and Oklahoma.
Williams on why he chose USC
“It was just home and the relationship I had built with Coach Donte was second to none,” Williams said. “USC is on the rise and watch out these next couple years.”
Relationship with coaching staff
“I mean my relationship has been built ever since the new staff got here,” Williams said. “They love my family and my brother who’s on the team already. So I’m just always around and it just has that family feel.”
The California defensive back joins coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans’ top 15 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star wide receiver Xavier Jordan, four-star cornerback Dakoda Fields, and others.
