4-star cornerback Curley Reed offered by USC Trojans

Lake Charles (La.) College Prep cornerback Curley Reed has been offered by USC’s new coaching staff, he announced Thursday on Twitter.
Reed is the No. 110 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 10 cornerback and the No. 9 prospect in Louisiana.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder already has 10 offers in hand, including the Trojans, LSU, Florida State, Kansas State, Auburn, Nebraska and others.

USC currently has four commitments in the 2023 class, though all of them are on the offensive side of the ball. Since hiring Lincoln Riley last month, the Trojans have added Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Malachi Nelson, five-star wide receiver Zachariah Branch, and four-star wide receiver Makai Lemon. They currently rank No. 2 in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
