Fort Worth (Texas) IMG Academy four-star safety Jordon Johnson-Rubell is spending this weekend on an unofficial visit to USC. The Trojans made his top 12 schools.
Johnson-Rubell is the No. 72 overall prospect and No. 6 safety in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 13 player in Florida.
“(Outside linebackers/nickels coach) Roy Manning and all those coaches, they’re at USC now,” Johnson-Rubell told On3’s Chad Simmons on Jan. 5. “They were recruiting me at Oklahoma. Now they’re recruiting me at USC. So that transition from Oklahoma to USC caught my eye also.”
“I want to see the way they run things,” he added. “(What’s) different at Oklahoma, (what’s) different at USC, how did they change and things like that.”
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Texas has a commanding lead for Johnson-Rubell’s commitment at 91.3%. He last visited the Longhorns on Sept. 17. for their game against UTSA.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The Trojans’ 2024 recruiting class currently contains two commits. They are Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge four-star tight end Joey Olsen and Houston (Texas) Long Beach Poly four-star wide receiver Jason Robinson.
Johnson-Rubell has an On3 NIL Valuation of $60K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
