Manchester (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Justus Terry has decommitted from USC, he announced on Wednesday morning via social media.

He was pledged to the Trojans since March 24, when he flipped to the Big Ten program from the Georgia Bulldogs. Terry is the second five-star to decommit from USC this week, following Warner Robins (Ga.) five-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson, who backed off his pledge on Tuesday.

Terry is the No. 7 overall prospect and No. 2 DL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in Georgia.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pounder wasted no time flipping his commitment from UGA to USC this spring, as he made the call during his first visit to Los Angeles. Now, he’s back on the board and looking for his college home once more.

Terry was scheduled to take his official visit to USC this weekend, but that trip is no longer on the books. He tells On3’s Chad Simmons that he will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend for an OV with Alabama. Georgia and Florida State have also had Terry in for officials this month.

Justus Terry Scouting Summary

On3’s scouting and rankings team writes this of Terry as a prospect:

“Tremendous frame and build for an interior defensive line prospect. Stands in at 6-foot-5, 275 pounds with excellent weight distribution throughout his frame. Wins with first step and lateral quickness, has rare get off and leverage for a player of his stature. Quality bend and ability to change direction, comfortable in space. Uses his length to initiate contact consistently and sheds blockers with ease. Able to anchor and two-gap if asked to in run support. Will need to continue to fill out and gain functional play strength at the next level. Should be able to carry an extra 20-30 pounds on his frame. High upside prospect who will be in consideration for a first round selection in the NFL Draft.”
