USC has been struggling for much of the night on Saturday night
The Trojans have struggled for much of the night on Saturday night. The Oregon State Beaver defense has given Caleb Williams and the USC wide receivers plenty of problems. USC star quarterback Caleb Williams has only completed nine of 23 pass attempts thus far for 113 passing yards, while tossing no touchdowns and no interceptions.
At the end of the third quarter, the Oregon State was in front of USC 7-3. It’s a really impressive performance by the Beaver defense, considering the Trojans were averaging 50.7 points per game coming into Saturday night’s matchup. It’s by far the stiffest test USC has faced thus far and it’s not even close. We’ll have to see how the fourth quarter plays out in Saturday night’s matchup. Weird things have happened in Corvallis over the years in this rivalry and tonight’s game was just another example of that.
