Oregon State transfer LB Easton Mascarenas-Arnold commits to USC Trojans

Oregon State transfer linebacker Easton Mascarenas-Arnold committed to the USC Trojans.

He recorded 107 tackles for the Beaver defense in 2023 and tallied four career sacks and three career interceptions.

As a sophomore in 2022, he racked up 37 tackles with 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception for touchdown, and a pass breakup. He posted a season-best seven tackles vs. the Montana State Bobcats. During his freshman year for the Beavers, he played in all 13 games.

Mascarenas-Arnold played high school football at Mission Viejo High in California, where he was a three-star recruit in the 2021 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated as the No. 485 overall player and the No. 48 linebacker in that cycle.

As a junior in high school, he tallied 91 tackles to go along with 17 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, three interceptions, and one fumble recovery. As a sophomore, he racked up 91 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, and one interception.
