Report: Oklahoma staff member set to join Lincoln Riley at USC
The USC Trojans’ newly anointed head coach, Lincoln Riley, is not done raiding Oklahoma just yet. He took a number of Sooners coaching staff members with him to USC. He flipped some commitments from Oklahoma to USC. Now he’s adding another staff member from Oklahoma, former Sooner offensive analyst Conner McQueen, according to Bruce Feldman of FOX.
The report of McQueen joining Riley’s staff at USC broke on Thursday night.
The former Sooners staff member will join USC as a graduate assistant and will work with the quarterbacks for the Trojans, according to the report. During his college football career, McQueen played for Texas A&M. He also spent two years on the coaching staff at UCLA under Chip Kelly after spending a year as a quality control assistant for the Aggies.
He’s lucky enough to already have an incredibly talented quarterback in Los Angeles, Jaxson Dart, the third-ranked quarterback in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 rankings.

Dart spins an absolutely gorgeous spiral and he showed off his tremendous potential in a number of games during the season. Against Washington State, the Utah native completed 30 of his 46 pass attempts for 391 passing yards, while tossing in four touchdown passes and two interceptions.
He also threw for 325 passing yards against the UCLA Bruins. He’s clearly got a few things he can clean up after throwing five interceptions in limited action as a freshman. But he’s still young and is oozing with a jaw-dropping amount of potential. McQueen is lucky to come from Oklahoma and have a pupil like him already at his disposal.
A native of Klein, Texas, McQueen played his high school football for Klein Oak high school. One thing is for certain, Oklahoma fans likely will not forgive Lincoln Riley for poaching several members of their coaching staff on his way out the door.
