Transfer CB Kevin Longstreet, brother of Husan Longstreet, signs with USC
CB Kevin Longstreet has signed with the USC Trojans out of the NCAA Transfer Portal per On3’s Pete Nakos.
USC will now have a family reunion in Los Angeles with Longstreet joining Husan Longstreet, his brother and a five-star quarterback signee for the program, after each had attended and or committed respectively to Texas A&M.
Longstreet recorded one deflection this fall in few snaps for the Aggies. He also previously spent time the year prior at Louisville.
That’s after Longstreet, an Inglewood native, was a member of the 2023 cycle.
As for Husan, though, he is one of the top-rated players in the country in 2025. He attended Centennial in Corona as a five-star prospect in the latest recruiting class. He was the No. 20 overall player, the No. 4 QB, and the No. 1 recruit out of the state of California per the On3 Industry Ranking, a a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. With that, he’s the second highest-rated signee for Southern Cal in their Top-15 incoming class behind only DL Jahkeem Stewart.
After a month spent in the portal, Longstreet is now the seventh addition in the portal during this cycle for ‘SC. He will come to Hollywood alongside CB DJ Harvey (San José State), RB Eli Sanders (New Mexico), IOL DJ Wingfield (Purdue), K Caden Chittenden (UNLV), and DLs Keeshawn Silver (Kentucky) and Jamaal Jarrett (Georgia).
