UCF four-star safety commit Kendarius Reddick has flipped his commitment from the Knights to USC, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder has been pledged to UCF since February, when he flipped his commitment from Auburn, who he’d previously been committed to since October 2023.

Reddick is the No. 140 overall prospect and No. 15 safety in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 17 player in Georgia.

USC got Reddick to Los Angeles for an official visit at the end of June and began trending to flip him away from UCF. He becomes commitment No. 17 for Lincoln Riley and the Trojans this cycle.

In his first three seasons of high school varsity football, Reddick — while playing at Georgia high school powerhouse Thomas County Central, has recorded 157 tackles, five interceptions, five tackles for a loss and two sacks.

Trojans add to Top-20 recruiting class

The 2025 cycle has been a recruiting rollercoaster for USC, but the Trojans have found their footing once again heading into the fall.

Reddick is the second blue-chipper to join the pledge list this month, flanking Mobile (Ala.) Williamson four-star offensive tackle Carde Smith. USC also flipped Buford (Ga.) four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte away from Georgia on July 30.

Two top-100 prospects highlight the class, including Carrollton (Ga.) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, who remains in the mix for the Trojans despite plenty of speculation surrounding a potential flip. He’s the No. 22 overall recruit and No. 3 QB in the nation. San Clemente (Calif.) four-star linebacker Matai Tagoa’i also headlines as the No. 5 LB in the cycle.
