USC basketball trolls Deion Sanders following victory vs. Colorado
On Thursday, new Colorado Buffaloes head football coach Deion Sanders went to watch the school’s basketball team take on USC. It wasn’t a good night for the Buffaloes, though, and the Trojans ran them out of their own building by a score of 84-65.
After the game, the USC men’s basketball Twitter account decided to troll Sanders. They did so by quote-tweeting a photo of Sanders at the game.
You can look at the troll from USC, here:
“Hope he enjoyed the show!” tweeted USC.
Odds are that Deion Sanders didn’t love the show, though he’s also likely more concerned about finding a way to beat USC’s football team.
This was an important win for the Trojans, though, who are currently fighting for the highest possible spot that they can earn in the 2023 Pac-12 Tournament. For Colorado, who is sitting at the bottom of the pack in the Pac-12 standings, a win could have helped set up an easier first round matchup.
USC made history with the win over Colorado
USC’s win over Colorado was the team’s 20th this season. That’s a milestone marker that a lot of programs strive for every season. In that regard, it’s kind of like winning 10 games in a season for a college football program.

This wasn’t the first time USC has won 20 games in program history. In fact, this was the fourth season in a row that the Trojans managed to win 20 games. In that way, this team made history because that is an accomplishment never done before by USC basketball.
“For the first time in program history, we’ve now posted four straight 20-win seasons!” USC tweeted. “Say it with us: Thanks, Enfield!”
Andy Enfield has coached USC since 2013, earning five trips to the NCAA Tournament during that time. USC’s best finish during that time has been in the Elite Eight.
