According to On3’s Pete Nakos, USC forward Rashaun Agee has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Agee goes in there with a ‘Do Not Contact’ tag attached to his name. While the portal is closed, some late paperwork came through and Agee is set to be on the open market.

Just one season was spent with USC for Agee. His previous three stops were at New Mexico State and Bowling Green plus a stop at the JUCO level with Casper College. The Lobos won his recruitment coming out of high school but only one season was spent there. Agee really got his career underway with Bowling Green.

However, after two seasons, he decided to hit the transfer portal once again. Eric Musselman took advantage, bringing him to Los Angeles. The payoff was a good one, as Agee averaged 9.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

This will be Agee’s sixth year of college basketball, wherever he winds up. A redshirt was taken during the 2019-2020 season with New Mexico State. Playing JUCO may help him gain a final year of eligibility, similar to others in the sport.

Either way, a player proven in a power conference is set to hit the open market. USC winds up getting just one year of Agee’s services. It’s the continuation of a big-time roster turnover for Musselman, entering his second season in charge of the program.

USC loses point guard to NCAA transfer portal

USC guard Desmond Claude intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Joe Tipton reports. He did so after spending just one season with the Trojans.

Claude originally began his career at Xavier, where he played for two years. He turned into a star as a sophomore, starting 34 games and playing exceptionally well. Well enough to transfer to a more high-profile school.

He landed on USC. And once at USC, Desmond Claude continued to put up big numbers.

During the 2024-25 season, the 6-foot-6 guard averaged 15.8 points, 4.2 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. He even shot 30.7% from 3-point range, the best mark of his career to date.

All of that came after a standout sophomore season at Xavier. In 2023-24, Desmond Claude averaged 16.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. He also turned in 1.1 steals per game, showing a knack for using his length to force turnovers.
