USC OL Kalolo Ta'aga plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal
USC is losing an offensive lineman to the NCAA Transfer Portal. Kalolo Ta’aga plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, he announced Thursday morning on Twitter.
The California native just finished his freshman season at USC. He did not appear in a game this season. Ta’aga signed with USC after being ranked as a three-star recruit and the No. 48 offensive tackle in the country in the class of 2024, per the On3 Industry Rankings.
Ta’aga released a statement explaining his decision to transfer from USC after spending only one season playing for the Trojans.
“Thank you, Trojan Family, for your unwavering love and support. To my coaches — thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to grow,” the statement reads. “To my teammates — we are brothers for life! This has been a difficult decision but after a lot of praying and reflection, I have decided to enter the transfer portal.”
Prior to coming to USC, Ta’aga attended Archbishop, Riordian High School. He played only one season of high school football after growing up playing basketball.
