USC has extended an offer to Jefferson (Ga.) four-star linebacker Sammy Brown, one of the top players in the 2024 class.

Brown is the No. 11 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $22k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Miami Columbus four-star linebacker TJ Capers is the only linebacker ranked ahead of him in the recruiting class.

“I kinda pride myself in my speed and physicality, but also my effort too,” Sammy Brown told The Bengal Tiger. “Where almost everyone at the best level is going to have speed and be physical, I really wanna separate myself with 110 percent effort,” Brown said of what he brings. “I have very good instincts when it comes to defense. I think playing on offense plays a pretty good role in that. Can kinda tell what they’re running just because of how they’re lined up, formations, etc.”

The Trojans have three commits in the 2024 recruiting class: Calabasas (Calif.) four-star cornerback Aaron Butler, Long Beach (Calif.) Long Beach Poly four-star linebacker Dylan Williams and Houston (Texas) Long Beach Poly four-star wide receiver Jason Robinson.
