USC has extended an offer to Windsor (Conn.) The Loomis Chaffee School four-star EDGE Jacob Smith.
Smith is the No. 169 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $15.4k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Smith is the twin brother of four-star defensive lineman Jerod Smith and the two plan on playing together in college.
“I feel we’ll probably end up going to the same school, just because we have similar interests and the same goals,” Jacob told On3.

Jacob Smith said he is going to focus on schools that can help him develop his skills so he can succeed at the next level.
“I’m not gonna go to a school blindly,” Jacob Smith said. “I need to go to every single school that I’d be interested in. (If I were) able to go there, I would need to see the school first and see if I can connect with them.”
