USC offensive lineman Andres Dewerk has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. He will have multiple years of eligibility remaining.

Dewerk failed to ever crack the lineup at USC, serving as a reserve lineman in four seasons with the Trojans. He didn’t play in 2020 and 2021, saving both years of eligibility as a result of Covid and then a redshirt. He played in one game in 2022 and sparingly again in 2023.

A native of the San Jose area, Dewerk could be a candidate to transfer do a Group of 5 school out west to compete for starting reps. As a first-time transfer, he’ll be immediately eligible under NCAA rules without any waiver process necessary to get eligibility wherever he lands.

Dewerk played high school football at Los Gatos (Calif.) High School, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1217 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
