USC running back A’Marion Peterson plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, per 247’s Mike Roach. He will have three years of eligibility remaining to play at his next destination.

Peterson was a redshirt freshman during the 2024 season. He finished the year with 16 rushes for 65 yards and one touchdown. He’s appeared in four games for the Trojans during his two years with the program.

The most productive game of his career was his most recent. Appearing in the Las Vegas Bowl against Texas A&M, Peterson recorded 12 rushes for 43 yards during a 35-31 victory. The lone touchdown of his college career to this point came this past season against Utah State.

USC finished the 2024 college football season 7-6 overall, including a 4-5 record against Big Ten opponents during the Trojans’ first season in the conference. At one point during the season, the Trojans dropped four out of five games in a row. However, they were able to turn the season around with wins in three of its last four matchups, including the bowl win over the Aggies.

Before college, Peterson was a four-star recruit, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was the No. 387 overall recruit in the 2023 recruiting class, as well as the No. 27 running back in that cycle.

Former USC DL Solomon Tuliaupupu signs with Montana out of transfer portal

Former USC defensive lineman Solomon Tuliaupupu has signed with Montana out of the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He originally entered the transfer portal on Feb. 13.

Tuliaupupu is one of the longest-tenured players in college football. He began in 2018, spending the last seven years with the Trojans before looking for a new home via the transfer portal. Tuliaupupu has had multiple seasons ruined by injury. The latest was in 2023 when he suffered a season-ending injury in training camp.
