RB Marshawn Lloyd was a major addition for USC as one of the best players available in the transfer portal this offseason. Now, as he heads into his first campaign with the Trojans after a pair with South Carolina, we know what jersey he’ll be rocking in Los Angeles.

Lloyd shared a photo of him repping his new UCS threads on Twitter on Sunday. After wearing No. 1 for the Gamecocks, he will now go down one digit and wear No. 0 in Hollywood.

This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise as Lloyd had been wearing the No. 0 over the course of spring practice with the Trojans.

Over his two seasons in Columbia, Lloyd rushed 175 times for 801 yards and 10 touchdowns as the leading rusher in 2022 for Shane Beamer’s program. He also caught 18 passes last fall for 176 yards and two more scores.

That production earned him the designation as a Top-100 player, specifically No. 71, in On3’s Portal Rankings once he elected to transfer. He also ranked as the No. 3 running back. He then committed to play for Lincoln Riley and USC back at the start of January.

The Trojans were already going to have a great offense because of Riley and QB Caleb Williams. Even so, if No. 0 can find more success on the ground in the City of Angels like he did in the SEC, their scoring ability should be even more formidable this fall.

Caleb Williams joins PlayStation’s Playmaker program

Caleb Williams is an avid gamer. The USC quarterback is a business partner of Matt Leinart‘s arcade-style video game from Hall of GOATS. He joined the AT&T 5G Roadshow before the national championship for a round of Call of Duty.

And he now has become the latest name to join PlayStation’s Playmaker program thanks to NIL. Smith & Company vice president Cody Boulware confirmed the partnership to On3. Established in February, the PlayStation campaign has partnered with athletes, creators, gamers and artists.

The first class of Playmakers included LeBron James, actor and comedian King Bach and NFL players Ja’Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb.

Williams is the first college athlete to join the initiative. As part of the agreement, he recently promoted PlayStation on his Instagram story. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner also received a PlayStation VR2 and PS5.
