USC's Donte Williams watching On300 DB, Trojans commit Jaeden Gould
USC interim head coach Donte Williams has had a busy bye week, traveling all across the country to visit recruits. His latest stop was New Jersey to watch Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic four-star defensive back and USC commit Jaeden Gould.
Williams, who was the cornerbacks coach before taking over as interim head coach last month, was the lead recruiter for Gould. The New Jerseyian announced his pledge to the Trojans in June.
Gould is the No. 199 recruit in the 2022 On300 rankings, and the fourth-best recruit in the Garden State.
Williams is also watching Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic four-star defensive tackle Sydir Mitchell, who holds an offer from USC.
Mitchell also has offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Boston College, Florida State, Michigan, Rutgers, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Penn State, Ole Miss, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.
