Wide receiver Drake London carted off for USC, exits Arizona game early
USC star wide receiver Drake London was injured tonight in the USC-Arizona game. It did not look good as he was loaded onto the cart and he had an air cast on his right leg.
Here is the footage of him getting carted off below.
If the injury is serious, obviously it’d be a massive blow to the Trojans as London is not only one of the best receivers in college football, but one of the best athletes as well.
London was injured when he caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from freshman phenom quarterback Jaxson Dart with 4:16 remaining in the 2nd quarter.
Below is footage on the play from On3’s Scott Schrader.
The touchdown catch was his second touchdown catch of the game. The California native hauled in nine catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns before he was carted off with his injury.
Here is a clip of his other touchdown catch he had earlier in the game to put the Trojans up 21-7 with 7:59 left in the 1st half.

USC fans are hoping the injury isn’t serious, but it didn’t look good. London is also one of the top wide receiver prospects for the 2022 NFL Draft, as well.
He’s been having an incredible season in 2021 and PFF noted that he’s had a 92.7 receiving grade vs. single coverage–the best in college football.
Coming into the Arizona game tonight, London had already hauled in 79 catches for 1,003 receiving yards and five touchdown catches.
Drake London is one of the most gifted athletes in college athletics
London was an exceptional basketball player coming out of Moorpark High School (Moorpark, California). As a senior, he averaged 29.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. It’s not unusual for FBS athletes to be talented in more than one sport, but London was truly elite at two different sports, which is a rare find. As a senior for Moorpark High School, he hauled in 62 catches for 1,089 receiving yards, and 12 touchdown catches.
