Former Vanderbilt OT Junior Uzebu commits to South Florida
Former Vanderbilt offensive tackle Junior Uzebu committed to South Florida, according to a post on his Twitter profile. He entered the portal back on December 28th.
“Wanted to thank every school in the transfer portal that reached out to give me a opportunity to strive to my goals,” Uzebu wrote on Twitter. “With that being said I am excited to announce I am committed to The University of South Florida!”
The USF commit started his career at West Virginia out of high school. He eventually found his way to Vanderbilt. But, he’ll finish his career in the Tampa area.
As a member of the Class of 2018, Uzebu was a three-star recruit out of Alpharetta (Ga.) High, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 57 overall prospect in the state, the No. 41 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 531 overall prospect in the class.
