Utah State announces signing of Utah transfer QB Bryson Barnes
Former Utah quarterback Bryson Barnes didn’t go far as he announced his commitment to Utah State, according to the team’s Twitter page.
Barnes saw a variety of action over the last four years with the Utes. He had the most action this year, appearing in 11 games.
This year, Barnes had 1,572 yards, 12 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a 58.7% completion percentage. He also had 265 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
Over the course of his career, Barnes had 2,025 yards, 17 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, a 60.1% completion percentage, 391 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
As a member of the Class of 2020, Barnes was not ranked, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He played his high school football at Milford (Utah) High.
