Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon four-star interior offensive lineman Isaiah Garcia has committed to the Utah Utes. He chose the Utes over Stanford and Oregon.

Garcia is the No. 215 overall prospect and No. 13 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Utah.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Garcia officially visited Utah on June 9. He also took officials to USC, Oregon and Stanford last month.

Garcia currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $63K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Garcia bolsters Utah class

It had been a slow start to the recruiting cycle for Kyle Whittingham’s staff. Garcia is just the ninth recruit to commit to the Utes, and the class sits outside of the top 50 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

One other four-star recruit has pledged to Utah — Garcia’s Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon teammate, quarterback Isaac Wilson. Wilson is the nation’s No. 335 prospect and No. 20 quarterback.

Garcia is the first offensive lineman in this 2024 group for Utah. Other offensive players include Las Vegas (Nev.) Arbor View three-star receiver David Washington, Sacramento (Calif.) three-star running back Lamar Radcliffe and Magnolia (Texas) three-star running back Hunter Andrews.

On defense, the Utes have commitments from Santa Ana (Calif.) three-star safety Jeilani Davis, Henderson (Nev.) St. John Bosco three-star linebacker Ashtin Kekahuna-Lopes, Chandler (Ariz.) three-star cornerback Sammie Hunter and JUCO EDGE Vili Taufatofua.
