Portland (Ore.) Lake Oswego wide receiver Justius Lowe has decommitted from Utah, announcing the news Sunday on social media.

“With A lot of thinking going on with my family, I will be de committing from the university of Utah and open My recruitment,” Lowe tweeted. “I really want to thank the staff, and coaches at Utah for showing me nothing but love and hospitality. With that being said this is what I feel is best.”

Lowe committed to the Utes right before the early signing period in December, but did not sign with the program during that time frame.

He was set to visit the school this weekend but was unable to make the trip.

Justius Lowe as the No. 696 overall player in the country and No. 101 wide receiver in the nation, according to the On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Lowe is ranked as a four-star prospect by On3, which has him as the No. 216 overall recruit and No. 30 wideout in the 2022 On300 ranking.

On3 also has Lowe as the No. 2 prospect from the state of Oregon after another wide receiver: Michigan signee Darrius Clemons out of Portland (Ore.) Westview.
