2025 QB Shaker Reisig commits to Utah Utes
Still early on in the 2025 recruiting cycle, Utah has added its second member of the class in Jenks (Okla.) quarterback Shaker Reisig.
Reisig joins Pasadena (Calif.) Sierra Canyon three-star quarterback Wyatt Becker, setting up Kyle Whittingham’s quarterback room for the future.
Becker is the nation’s No. 370 overall prospect and No. 26 quarterback in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 29 recruit in California.
“What Coach Whittingham has done there is amazing,” Becker told On3 when he committed. “He is one of the best coaches in all of college football. He has had consistent success, he has had success this season with a lot of injuries and he has created the culture I want to play in.”

More on Utah recruiting
Utah’s 2024 recruiting class finished No. 47 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon four-star quarterback Isaac Wilson — brother of New York Jets QB Zach Wilson — headlined the Utes’ class. He was joined by high school teammate and four-star interior offensive lineman Isaiah Garcia.
“[Two-time] PAC-12 champs, seems like all they do is win,” Wilson told On3. “It’s just right down the street to my family and friends. Coach Ludwig runs a clean-cut offense that really shows their relations to the next level.”
