Utah offers 2025 No. 1 LB Madden Faraimo
San Diego (Calif.) J Serra Catholic four-star linebacker Madden Faraimo received an offer from Utah on Wednesday. He announced the news over social media.
Faraimo is the No. 23 overall prospect and No. 1 linebacker in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in California.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound recruit holds 10 offers. He took an unofficial visit to USC on Nov. 26.
“The first thing in my mind is my family, whatever fits my family the best,” Faraimo told On3’s Chad Simmons on Nov. 8 about his recruitment. “Whatever my parents can trust that I have my best opportunities in life, but it’s always great to make relationships with coaches and so, it’s very important to me as well. It’s wherever I fit in and whatever fits what I want to do in life is going to be my choice.”

Utah has no commitments in its 2025 recruiting class. Meanwhile, the Utes’ 2023 class contains 20 players and ranks No. 23 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings, as well as No. 3 in the Pac-12.
Faraimo has an On3 NIL Valuation of $73K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
