As he joins Utah for the 2025 campaign, Parker will be looking to add to an offense helmed by quarterback Isaac Wilson, who announced he will return to the program. Wilson just wrapped up his true freshman season, seeing a good chunk of playing time. He threw for 1,510 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in nine appearances. An injury was present throughout most of the year, something head coach Kyle Whittingham mentioned ahead of the in-state rivalry showdown against BYU.
“He’s been pretty banged up this year,” Whittingham said. “He’s a tough kid and wants to be out there. So, if you’re out there, you’ve got to play him.”
He wound up missing the BYU game before returning to face Colorado and Iowa State. The hope moving forward is that Wilson can stay healthy for the entire season.
Wilson played high school football at Draper (UT) Corner Canyon, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 264 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
