2022 Georgia WR Daveon Walker commits to Vanderbilt
Warner Robins (Ga.) Warner Robins wide receiver Daveon Walker committed Tuesday to Vanderbilt.
The commitment comes one day after another Hudson County player decommitted from the Commodores and a few hours after another prospect had decommitted.
Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County three-star cornerback Caleb Coley decommitted Monday night and Pinson (Ala.) Pinson Valley athlete B.J. Diakite backed off his pledge Tuesday. Coley is the No. 616 prospect in the country according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Diakite is the No. 791 recruit.
Walker went on a visit to Nashville this past weekend for the Commodores game against Missouri. He also held offers from Liberty and Pittsburgh.

Through nine games this season, Walker has 44 catches for 934 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. That averages out to 103.8 yards per game and 21.2 yards per catch.
Warner Robins is 8-1 on the season.
For his high school career, Walker has 108 receptions for 1908 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Vanderbilt now has 17 commits in its recruiting class, which ranks last in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Rabun Gap (Ga.) Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School four-star linebacker Darren Agu is the top player in the class.
