2025 4-star RB Caden Knighten decommits from Vanderbilt

Wynnewood (Okla.) four-star 2025 running back Caden Knighten has decommitted from Vanderbilt, he announced on Tuesday.
He had previously been committed to the Commodores since April 2023, when he chose them over USC, North Texas, SMU and a handful of other programs.
“First and foremost, I’d like to thank My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the opportunities he’s given me. Allowing me to fulfill my dream and do what I love most,” he wrote on Twitter. “Also I’d like to thank my family for supporting me and spending countless hours out of their lives to make sure I can do what’s best for me.

… Also I’d like to thank The University of Vanderbilt for believing and taking the chance on me. With the decision from me and my family and the issues and changes with the coaching staff i will be decommitting and opening my recruitment back up. I ask that you please respect my decision and support me through my journey. And one last final thanks to Coach Everett, for giving me hope in what I do. I forever will be grateful.”
