Pavia has been an absolute warrior on the gridiron for the ‘Dores this year and there’s no question he’ll be beloved in Nashville for the rest of his life. Against Alabama, he finished with over 300 all-purpose yards, while tossing in two passing touchdowns. He also managed to complete 80% of his passes for 252 yards.
He is the absolute embodiment of an underdog. It’s only fitting he led Vanderbilt to such a big win. It’s going to be fascinating to see who ends up with that jersey, because it’s without a doubt, one of the rarer pieces of memorabilia you’ll ever find.
If Vanderbilt fans want to get themselves another piece to remember the upset, they can. The school is auctioning off the individual pylons ($880), a four-inch piece of the upright ($1,005), a personalized game ball ($2,600), an 8-inch piece of the crossbar ($4,035), and a personalized game helmet ($7,090).
Vanderbilt currently sits at 3-2 overall. They are 14-point underdogs against the Kentucky Wildcats this weekend. That one is set for Saturday, Oct. 12th. Kick will be at 7:45 PM EST and the game will be nationally televised on the SEC Network.
