Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood four-star offensive tackle Kevin Heywood received an offer from Vanderbilt Sunday. He announced the news on Twitter.

Heywood is the No. 279 overall prospect and No. 13 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in Pennsylvania.

On3 rates Heywood higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. He is the No. 183 overall prospect, the No. 16 offensive tackle and No. 3 player in Pennsylvania in the 2024 On300.

The 6-foot-7, 295-pounder holds 20 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Penn State as the heavy favorite to land a commitment from Heywood at 97.9%.

Heywood’s last visit to Penn State came on Nov. 26 for the Nittany Lions’ regular season finale against Michigan State.

“I thought I was going to go down there and no one would really know who I was,” Heywood told BWI’s Ryan Snyder following the visit. “I didn’t really think that was going to be my place at first, but once I got there, they were all walking in on their Vol Walk and all of their coaches stopped by to say hi and welcome me. That made me feel really comfortable there. All of their coaches then were talking to me. It was a great first visit.”

Heywood currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $29K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
