Former Ole Miss wide receiver Jeremiah Dillon has committed to Vanderbilt, he announced on Thursday via X.

Dillon was a second-year player for the Rebels who failed to record any statistics during the 2023 season, according to Ole Miss’ official online statistics.

Prior to enrolling at Ole Miss, Dillon was a four-star prospect and the No. 223 overall recruit in the nation in the 2022 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was also ranked as the No. 40 wide receiver in the class and the No. 7 overall player in the state of Mississippi, hailing from Mccomb (MS) Tylertown.

He will likely find an extended role at Vanderbilt — a school with SEC pedigree but with lower expectations than the ones he faced coming into his career at Ole Miss.

The Commodores wrapped up their 2023 regular season with a 2-10 record for the second time in three seasons.
