“Blessed and honored to be 110% committed to Vanderbilt University,” Swann wrote on Twitter.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder initially chose Maryland last spring over more than a dozen others and appeared set to stick with the Terrapins. But after visiting Vanderbilt in early October, he began seriously considering the Commodores. And last week, he opted to decommit from Maryland and reopen his recruitment.
As a senior, AJ Swann completed just over 61 percent of his passes for 2,043 yards with 22 touchdowns to go against seven interceptions. He also ran for 83 yards and two more scores while leading his team to the first round of the Georgia 7A playoffs.
