2023 wide receiver Amare Thomas decommits from Virginia
Pinson (Ala.) Pinson Valley three-star wide receiver Amare Thomas has decommitted from Virginia, he announced on Wednesday.
Thomas committed to the Cavaliers in June over offers from Penn State, Liberty, Jackson State, Coastal Carolina and a handful of other programs.
“First off I would like to thank The University Of Virginia, Coach Elliot and the rest of the coaching staff for offering me the privilege of playing football at the next level,” he wrote on Twitter. “However after long conversation discussing the best opportunity for Me and my family, I have decided to decommit from The University of Virginia. Please Respect My Decision.”
