Virginia offers in-state 2022 athlete KJ Bratton

Virginia has offered Daleville (Va.) Lord Botetourt athlete KJ Bratton a scholarship, Bratton announced on social media Monday.

This is Bratton’s first Division I offer. Bratton has offers from Bluefield, Savannah State, Virginia State and West Virginia State.

He also holds a PWO offer from Virginia Tech.

Bratton was first team all-state as an offensive weapon. He had 1,716 total yards of offense, including 1,200 rushing yards, and 21 touchdowns. He averaged 10.1 yards per carry and 28.5 yards per catch.

Virginia has only nine commits in the 2022 recruiting class. The Cavaliers have the No. 77 overall class in the country, according to the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.

Mooresboro (N.C.) Thomas Jefferson Class Academy wide receiver Dakota Twitty is the only four-star recruit in the country. The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Twitty as the No. 343 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle.
