3-star offensive lineman Gabriel Arena commits to Virginia Tech
Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt three-star offensive lineman Gabriel Arena has committed to Virginia Tech, announcing the news Friday on social media.
“First off I’d like to thank my family for supporting me on my journey throughout my recruitment. They’re my cornerstone and have helped me accomplish unbelievable things. I would also like to personally thank coach Weachter, Jake Minic, Braden Weachter, and Bud Kyle for giving me the opportunities to play and learn the game of football, as well as the coaches that gave me the chance to play at the next level. Ever since the day my family and I stepped on campus, you won us over with your graciously passionate atmosphere and love for academics and the game of football. Then you came to PA and got a few of our best coaches. It is only fitting that I return to Blacksburg as a HOKIE and give you (absolutely) everything I have, to WIN Championships for the whole HokieNation,” he tweeted.
Arena is the No. 830 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is the fourth commit in the 2023 class for the Hokies.
