Virginia Tech Hokies cornerback Mansoor Delane plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
The defender has been with the program for the past three seasons. He’s amassed 146 total tackles, 16 passes defensed, six interceptions and four forced fumbles with the Hokies.
Moreover, Delane played high school football at Archbishop Spalding (MD), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 653 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

In other Virginia Tech related news pertaining to the NCAA Transfer Portal, Hokies offensive lineman Gunner Givens has entered as well. Givens was the third Hokies offensive lineman to enter the portal this week, joining teammates like Braelin Moore and Xavier Chaplin.
Givens is a former four-star recruit, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was the No. 275 overall player in the 2022 recruiting class and No. 20 IOL.
He did not play during his true freshman season, utilizing his redshirt that season. In 2023, he played on the defensive line. He played in three games, making one tackle across that span. In 2024, he transitioned to the offensive line.
