Virginia Tech offensive lineman Jack Hollifield enters transfer portal

Virginia Tech offensive lineman Jack Hollifield has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Hollifield was a redshirt sophomore for the Hokies who served mostly as a reserve offensive lineman. He appeared in 12 games during the 2023 season.

In total, Hollifield made 23 appearances for the Hokies.

Prior to enrolling at Virginia Tech, Jack Hollifield was a three-star prospect and the No. 596 overall recruit in the country in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He also checked in as the No. 33 tight end in the class and the No. 31 overall player from the state of North Carolina, hailing from Shelby (NC) Shelby.
