The winner of North Carolina-Virginia Tech will earn another impressive resume boost

After beating Duke in the regular season finale, the Tar Heels are likely sitting pretty safely when it comes to earning a bid for the NCAA Tournament. Virginia Tech, though, would like to advance, and ideally win, the ACC title game. The Hokies are on the bubble, but a win against the Tar Heels would be a nice final boost to the resume.

North Carolina and Virginia Tech played twice during the regular season, with the Tar Heels picking up a victory in both contests. UNC won the first game 78-68, and took the second game 65-57.

The Tar Heels defeated Virginia on Thursday, while the Hokies have taken down Clemson in overtime and Notre Dame to begin the ACC Tournament. The winner of Friday’s game will face the winner of Duke and Miami.
