Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian School quarterback rising junior Aaron Philo saw his name near the top of multiple passing categories in 2021.

The college offers haven’t followed suit for Philo yet. That could be changing. Philo has seen some programs beginning to take a look.

He visited Wake Forest back on March 9. The Demon Deacons have also made a trip into Bogart. No offer has come as of now, but Philo can feel the interest and that interest is mutual.

“I would definitely be excited,” Philo told On3. “The first one is super special. With the offense they had, it was top four in the country. That would mean a lot.”

The Demon Deacons’ offense came up a lot during Philo’s visit back on March 9. He saw a lot of similarities between the Wake Forest offense and the system he pilots in high school. That makes an intriguing match for the 2024 signal-caller.

“We talked about their offense and it’s a lot like Prince’s offense,” Philo said. “They throw the ball a lot. There is a lot of RPO stuff as well. I like it a lot… I enjoyed Wake Forest a lot. It wasn’t a game. I got to see the campus and all of the facilities. That’s been my favorite visit so far.”
