Steve Forbes and all three Wake Forest assistant coaches sat courtside for four-star Juke Harris’ 38-point explosion on Friday night.

“It shows how important I am to them,” Harris told On3.

Harris took his official visit to Wake Forest in January and has been a regular to games in Lawrence Joel Coliseum in an unofficial capacity. Most recently, the 6-foot-6 guard was courtside for Wake Forest’s 92-85 win over North Carolina.

The game prior to this one, Harris finished with 45 points, his third 40-plus point game of the year. Friday night was his 12th game going over 30 this season.

Harris has taken four junior year official visits. Along with Wake Forest, he visited Virginia Tech last weekend and Tennessee and Houston in October. Harris says he is still talking with Miami and LSU about his fifth and final junior year visit.

Harris talks Wake Forest

*from previous interviews with On3

“I’ve been to many games in person. I know my game will not be limited, and I can show what I can do in every game.

Coach (Steve) Forbes has been by a couple of times already. He texts me on the daily, checking in. He thinks I fit perfectly in their system and with what they do. They work hard, and the coach gets on them to make sure they get it right.”

“I feel I’ve developed in scoring around the rim,” Harris said. “Also, I’ve been really working on my pull-up shooting, from three and in the mid-range. I watch a lot of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. They both know how to hit tough shots, and they have a creative handle to be able to get to those shots.”
