2024 QB Austin Mack commits to Washington

Class of 2024 quarterback Austin Mack of Folsom (CA) High announced his commitment to Washington Wednesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-6, 215 pounder chose the Huskies over Stanford, Oregon State, Cal, and Oregon.

Mack on why he chose Washington

“I mean really it just felt like home. The culture coach DeBoer had created is incredible. As well as having an amazing coaching staff I could really see myself being there which was very important to me and my family.”

I am definitely closest with coach Grubb and we have had an amazing relationship for awhile now and it’s just getting better. I can’t wait to get there and to get to work with him! I’ll definitely work on completing this class so it is the best it can be. All I gotta say is let’s go be great. UW is on the come up again and it’s all just getting started.”

Mack ranks as the No. 502 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. He also tabs in as the No. 34 quarterback and the No. 42 player in the state of California.
