2024 QB EJ Caminong commits to Washington
Seattle (Wash.) Garfield 2024 quarterback EJ Caminong is staying home, committing to in-state Washington on Wednesday morning.
Caminong is the No. 474 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 34 quarterback and the No. 8 junior recruit in the state of Washington.

On3 is higher on Caminong than other recruiting services though, per the Industry Comparison. In the most recent 2024 rankings, he was tabbed as the country’s No. 28 quarterback and the No. 7 player in Washington.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder chose the Huskies over offers from Oregon State, Colorado, and Washington State. He is Washington’s third commitment in the 2024 class, joining three-star athlete Landon Bell and three-star EDGE Jaxson Jones.
