2024 safety Joshua Lair commits to Washington Huskies
Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall three-star safety Joshua Lair has announced his commitment to the Washington Huskies.
Lair is the nation’s No. 429 overall prospect and No. 40 safety in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 70 player in Texas.
The 6-foot-0.5, 185-pound Lair does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Lair boosts a Washington class that ranks outside the top 25 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. With just a couple of months to go until the early signing period, an impressive season on the field for the Huskies could lead to a jump in success on the recruiting trail.
